Mike Volpe

Baseball Coach, Player, & Teacher

A former Division I baseball player and pitcher in the Atlanta Braves Organization.  Baseball has been a vital part of Mike’s life for as long as he can remember.  After retiring due to injuries, Mike now uses his love of the game to teach other athletes the physical and mental aspects of the game.  As an Elementary School Physical Education Teacher, he has the ability to relate to athletes of all ages (Mike has worked with athletes from 6 – 60 years old!).  Mike uses his knowledge of pitching and baseball mechanics to develop skills that will carry the athletes he works with through all levels of play.  With over 10 years of experience Mike has helped many athletes reach their personal goals by offering lessons to individuals, teams, and small groups.

Mike received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Towson University in 2013 and his Master of Arts in Teaching (K-12 Sports Pedagogy) from Manhattanville College in 2016.  He lives in North Caldwell, NJ with his wife, two daughters, two dogs, and their cat.
